Produce Tracking for an Ontario Produce Wholesaler
The Situation
A produce wholesaler needed to track fruit from intake to cooler storage. The system they had no longer fit the way the work actually happened, and fixing records after the fact was eating time.
What Was Built
A custom web app for scanning barcoded bins on a phone, including in spots with no cell coverage: scans queue on the device and sync when a connection returns. Scan errors are virtually eliminated through a custom intake interface. Every edit keeps an audit trail.
The Result
Staff scan on their own phones without a training session. The owner sees current cooler inventory instead of reconstructing it, and scanning errors are stopped before they start. The app streamlines the organization's day-to-day tracking, processing over 26,000 scans this year alone.

Fleet Inspections for an Alberta Trucking Company
The Situation
Daily truck walk-around inspections lived on paper. Records were hard to find later, and the owner had no quick way to see what condition the fleet was in. The company also needed to expand their branding to include the trucking operation.
What Was Built
A custom inspection app: drivers sign in with a PIN and complete their walk-around on a phone, and every record is kept per truck. The owner gets a dashboard for the fleet, with trucks added or retired in a couple of clicks. The engagement also included logo and identity work, delivered as part of the quote.
The Result
Inspections take a few minutes on a phone and the records stay findable. The company now has a brand to put on trucks, documents, and the app itself. The build is in client testing ahead of go-live, on the client's own accounts from day one.
